Landon Seppie was born with an extremely rare genetic syndrome and is currently the only known person in the world with his specific genetic change. Throughout his life, he has undergone more than 25 surgeries to his head and face as part of his journey.
While Landon’s genetic condition is exceptionally rare, his spirit is even more remarkable. He approaches every challenge with unwavering courage, perseverance, and a smile that inspires everyone around him. His positive attitude and determination have touched the lives of all who know him.
Until 2026, Landon’s medical condition prevented him from participating in organized sports alongside his peers. That changed when he discovered the Miracle League of Sweetwater County and fell in love with the game of baseball. For the first time, Landon was able to fulfill a lifelong dream of being part of a sports team.
Playing Miracle League Baseball has given Landon so much more than the opportunity to play a game. It has built his confidence, created lasting friendships, and brought immeasurable joy to his life. Every time he takes the field and rounds the bases, his excitement and determination are a reminder of the power of inclusion and opportunity.
When he’s not playing baseball, Landon enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, kayaking, and learning everything he can about extreme weather. His adventurous spirit, curiosity, and resilience make him an extraordinary young man who continues to inspire everyone he meets.
