My name is Donna Tramp, and I have been blessed to share 33 wonderful years with my loving and supportive husband. Together, we have raised six amazing children, one of whom has Down syndrome. Our son has brought immeasurable joy to our lives and taught us the true meaning of love and perseverance.
As a sports-loving family, our son has grown up traveling to countless games, cheering on his siblings from the sidelines. However, we longed to create a space where he, too, could experience the joy of playing sports in an environment tailored to his unique abilities. That dream led us to the Challenger League, which our family proudly ran for 10 years.
While we were grateful for the Challenger League and the community it fostered, we recognized the growing need for a field and league designed specifically to support the diverse needs of players with disabilities. That’s when we discovered The Miracle League, a national organization that provides fully inclusive baseball leagues and specialized turf fields for individuals with disabilities. I fell in love with their mission and everything they stand for. With over 350 leagues across the U.S. and several internationally, The Miracle League has transformed communities and created opportunities for countless families.
Unfortunately, Wyoming currently lacks a Miracle League field, and the need for a safe, accessible space for children and adults with disabilities in our state is significant. Beyond a field, we envision an ADA-accessible park that serves as a welcoming place for all members of our community to play, gather, and grow together.
I am passionate about bringing this dream to life in Sweetwater County, Wyoming. With your help, we can build something truly transformative—a space that fosters inclusion, joy, and connection for families across our state.

Wife, Mom, Baseball fan!
My husband and I have been married for 37 years and we are the proud parents of 8 sons. We have lived in and led churches in Missouri & Colorado as well as Wyoming. I have been a full-time wife and mom as we have home educated each of our sons, including our youngest who has Down Syndrome.
When I was a young lady, I enjoyed playing softball. Later, I loved being at the ballpark with my older cousin and her husband as they both played on adult league softball teams. I have always enjoyed baseball and just love the atmosphere of a baseball game. I love the sound of the bat contacting the ball and the excitement of fans cheering a runner home. All of our sons had a chance to play a little ball over the years but I assumed it wasn’t an option for my youngest until I heard about the Challenger league in Green River and met Donna Tramp. Our special son is looking forward to his 4th season of baseball. We have loved being a part of challenger baseball and now are so excited to see Miracle League of Sweetwater County be the first of its kind in Wyoming which is why I readily agreed to serve on the Board of Directors
Hello, I’m Kristy Hodder, a lifelong resident of Wyoming. Over the past 20 years, I’ve dedicated my career to working with the special needs community, holding a variety of roles that have allowed me to support and empower individuals in unique and meaningful ways. My journey in this field has been driven by a passion for inclusion and community engagement—values that have guided every step of my professional and personal life.
Throughout my career, I’ve been fortunate to work in diverse settings, each offering its own challenges and rewards. Whether I was developing programs or working one-on-one with participants, my focus has always been on creating opportunities for growth and connection. I firmly believe that everyone deserves a chance to shine and contribute to their community, and I have made it my mission to help participants not only find their strengths but also share them with others.
My first year with the Miracle League has been nothing short of inspiring. Witnessing participants
experience the joy of the game, build friendships, and develop newfound confidence has reaffirmed my belief in the power of community sports. Each smile, every high-five, and all the shared moments of triumph have not only enriched the lives of our participants but have also strengthened our community as a whole.
Looking ahead, I am excited to continue my journey with the Miracle League by exploring new ways to increase community engagement and create additional opportunities for individuals with special needs.
I have been happily married to my husband Brandon for 15 years. We have two amazing children together. One who’s vision was impacted at a month old, because of a very rare metabolic disorder.
Growing up playing sports has always been a major part of my life. From softball and volleyball, to joining a co-ed volleyball team with my husband to now watching my own kids play their favorite sports! If you know me really well, you know that I’m a diehard St. Louis Cardinals fan! GO REDBIRDS!!
Sweetwater County doesn’t have a lot of opportunities for special needs kids and adults. When I was approached to help start up Miracle League I was all on board! Giving my son something fun to do with his peers that also have daily challenges like him. It can be hard being a special needs parent and I guess to some it doesn’t make sense unless you’ve lived the life. So having the opportunity to connect with others through the Miracle League has been a blessing. I encourage you to come out and watch these players, you might get hooked like I did!!
I joined the Miracle League of Sweetwater County because I believe every person deserves the opportunity to play, belong, and be celebrated. Serving as Publicity Chairman allows me to help share the incredible stories of our players, families, and volunteers while spreading awareness of the impact inclusive sports have in our community.
Hello, my name is Kellie Sprecher and I have been married to my wonderful husband for 25 years. We have 8 great kids and have been foster parents to over 80 kids over the last 16 years. We have been blessed to adopt 2 kids through the years, one of which is our autistic son.
